Swimming and playing

We are having a great time on our vacation! Abby is of course quite a showoff, so she loves having so many people pay attention to her. We all went swimming, Connor for the first time ever, and it was great fun! I was surprised how much he seemed to like it. Abby of course had a lovely time with her beautiful water wings.

We also learned that Abby is a piano prodigy, and she has been practicing dutifully ever since she got her. Connor really likes it when she plays, as can be seen by the picture of him smiling like crazy.

Today the Wagler children had a bunch of friends over for a barbeque, and Abby was completely in her element! She was the center of attention, and she was so cute! She danced and played and laughed and talked, and got to stay up late watching a movie. She was just one of the gang.

Such a good vacation so far, the only way it could be any better is if Shane were here.

Family Vacation

While Shane is working on location for a few weeks, Abby, Connor and I are visiting family in Iowa. Abby sure misses her daddy! We have a framed picture of her and Shane, and she kisses it good night before she goes to bed. When she wakes up in the morning, she grabs it and just walks around with it and her blanky until she wakes up a bit.
Abby and Connor are loving visiting the Wagler family! We are taking a lot of pictures, and will have some to upload tomorrow. There is a lot to do here, including swimming in the pool! Abby played in it a little yesterday, but wasn't too fond of it. We'll have to work on that. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
